What is a Splash Pack?
The Bumbinos Splash Pack is a complete clip-on, front and rear mudguard/fender set. It comes in two different sizes and 12 different designs and each designs ships with themed stickers that will help transform your bike. Suitable for 14" to 20" wheels.
Will it fit a WOOM bike?
Yes! The universal attachment is designed to work flawlessly with all major kids bike brands, including WOOM, Early Rider, Puky, Frog Bikes, Guardian bikes, Isla Bikes, etc
What is the best mudguard for kids?
The best mudguard is the one that actually get's used. We've spent an awful lot of wacky time trying to create designs that kids actually wants on their bikes. Ask your kids if we succeeded or not. :)
How much mud do they really block?
Our mudguards are great but the Splash Pack won't stop your kids from finding every puddle. They are engineered to block the worst of the spray: the kind that ruins washing machines, soaks through layers, and turns a great ride into a not so great one. Your kids stay drier, warmer, and most importantly, smiling! :)
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. Delivery times vary depending on your location but for most locations in Europe it will take less than a week.
What are Extra Blades?
Like the name suggests, these are replacement blades for your Splash Pack. Maybe you want a new design or perhaps you have moved onto a bigger bike? Instead of buying a new Splash Pack, simply upgrade with a set of Extra Blades in a bigger size. Switching takes only a few minutes.
Do I need tools to install them?
No! Bumbinos mudguards are designed for stressed parents without a technical engineering degree and will install in minutes without the use of any tools.
What size should I buy?
Our mudguards/fenders are adapted after wheel size. The size is written on the side of the tire and roughly translates to 14-16 inch ≈ 3-5 years and 18-20 inch ≈ 6-9 years. Following these size recommendations will optimize the level of protection from the fender. However, due to the smart construction, any Splash Pack will install easy on bikes from 14" all the way up to 26".
Are they really made in Sweden?
Yes! Except for 6 grams of velcro, all our mudguards are completely produced in Sweden by people we know by first name. Even the stickers are printed in Skåne (southern part of Sweden where they talk funny but make the best stickers)
Are Splash Packs safe to use for kids?
Yes! We have designed the mudguards with safety as a priority. The front mudguard cannot interfere with the front wheel because of its placement and the rear fender is designed to be flexible and bend out of harms way. There are no sharp metal edges or pointy struts that could cause damage or injury.
